From the South
- Take I-95 NORTH towards N.H./MAINE. (Maine Turnpike Toll $1.50)
- Take Exit 44 (formerly Exit 6A), the I-295 NORTH exit, towards SO. PORTLAND/ PORTLAND DOWNTOWN. (Toll $.50)
- Take Exit 6B, the FOREST AVE exit
- At the end of the exit turn right and merge onto Forest Avenue
- At 1st stop light, turn left onto Bedford Street
- The Muskie School is located in the four story gray Wishcamper Center, which is the second building on the left at 34 Bedford Street. You may access the parking garage by taking the 2nd left (immediately after the overhead skywalk) on Bedford Street.
From the North
From Route 295
- Take I-295 South
- Take exit 6B FOREST AVE exit
- At the end of the exit turn right and merge onto Forest Avenue

From Route 95
- Take I-95 South (Toll Road)
- Take Exit 48 (formerly Exit 8), Westbrook exit
- After the toll plaza, turn left at the light onto Riverside Street
- Proceed to the Riverside Street/Brighton Avenue intersection
- Turn left onto Brighton Avenue, Route 25
- Follow Brigton Avenue (Route 25) for approximately 3 miles until the stop light at a five way intersection (Deering Street/Falmouth Street/Brighton Street intersection)
- Bear to the left (not a sharp left) on Brighton Avenue that soon intersects with Bedford Street.
- Enter the USM parking garage by taking the first right onto Surrenden Street.
- The Muskie School is located in the four story gray Wishcamper Center, which is at 34 Bedford Street, next door to the parking garage.
Muskie Research Annex (Baxter Blvd.)
- From I-295 in Portland, take Exit 6B for Forest Ave. North. Turn right off the exit ramp into the right-hand lane. Make a right turn at the first light onto Baxter Blvd. We are the second building on the right.
- From I-95 take Exit 48 (formerly Exit 8), then take a left onto Riverside Street and follow it up the hill. At the intersection, take a left onto Route 25 (Brighton Ave.) and proceed for approximately two miles. You will come to a 6-way intersection. (The USM School of Law and maine offices of Muskie School will be diagonally to your right.) Continue straight through the intersection onto Bedford St. The road will curve to the left. At the next light, go straight onto Baxter Blvd. We are the second and third buildings and second driveway on the right. There is a sign near the entrance to the parking lot that reads "University of Southern Maine, Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service, Research Programs Annex".
Note: The parking lot is a University lot, and requires a parking sticker. If you are attending a meeting, please ask us for a temporary parking permit.

From the South
- Take Exit 112-B off I-95 (Augusta/Belgrade exit).
- Ramp bears to the right and merges with traffic (State Route 27 North).
- Drive 1.2 miles north.
- Turn left at Commerce Drive/Central Maine Commerce Center.
- Stay on building access road past the large parking lot in the front, to additional parking on the far side. Look for a ramp with wood railings.
- Enter at the double glass doors marked USM Muskie School.
From the North
- Take Exit 112 off I-95 (Augusta/Belgrade and Civic Center exit).
- Exit ramp forks, take right fork and merge with traffic (State Route 27 North).
- Drive 1.2 miles north.
- Turn left at Commerce Drive/Central Maine Commerce Center.
- Stay on building access road past the large parking lot in the front, to additional parking on the far side. Look for a ramp with wood railings.
- Enter at the double glass doors marked USM Muskie School.
