The Muskie School student body is diverse in experience and age. Approximately 100 students enter the degree programs each year. About 40% of the student body is full-time. The Muskie School community is enriched by the diversity of its students and their differing life experiences. Applicants come from a broad range of undergraduate majors, backgrounds and skills. Most have work experience, but some come directly from undergraduate college. Approximately 100 additional students – professional, advanced undergraduates, and community residents – take classes in the certificate programs or individual classes to increase their knowledge of a particular field of study.
