There is a peer review system in place. Agency staff do this across several counties. This review is part of the Quality Assurance process. Additionally, since 1999, Washington State continues to report to the federal government annually regarding children who were already in placement 15 out of 22 months when ASFA took effect (April 1998) in our state. This select group of cases is reviewed to obtain information about completed permanent plans.

System is pretty good, improvement is needed regarding data entry on the part of field staff.
