Leslie Neal-Boylan

Leslie Neal-Boylan, PhD, RN,C, CRRN, FNP-C, Investigator, is an associate professor of nursing at the University of Southern Maine, Portland, ME. Dr. Neal-Boylan graduated with her BSN from Rutgers University, her MS in nursing from San Jose State University, and her PhD in nursing from George Mason University who named her distinguished alumna in 2001. She is certified in home health nursing, rehabilitation nursing, and as a family nurse practitioner. Dr. Neal-Boylan is the author of more than 50 professional journal articles and books. She developed and co-produced the video series "The Reality of Home Health Nursing Practice" in use by colleges and home health agencies nationwide. She has been awarded several private research grants and is currently working on a funded research project on registered nurses with disabilities. She has been a frequent editorial board member for juried professional journals, is a renowned speaker on home health and rehabilitation issues, and is the author of the Neal Theory of Home Health Nursing Practice.

Project Role

Dr. Neal-Boylan will provide expertise in qualitative assessment of practice improvements.
