State Capital Center
The Muskie School maintains a significant presence in the Maine's state capital, Augusta, as faculty and staff routinely engage in work with state government. In Augusta, the School houses over 80 staff members who provide research, technical assistance and training to many departments of Maine's executive branch. Faculty and staff also serve as resources to the legislature, providing instruction, research and policy analysis. Students at the Muskie School gain experience directly with state government as they work with faculty and research staff on capstones, internships, and graduate assistantships.
