Description

This is a Train-the-Trainer Program intended to prepare professionals for the delivery of DHHS's Mental Health Support Specialist Curriculum. Those who are interested in attending the MHSS Train-the-Trainer must go through an application process.

The MHSS Train-the-Trainer applicant must have:

  • An Associate's Degree in a Human Services field and two years of work experience directly relevant to adult residential care and/or in-home support settings and clientele, (or five years of relevant work experience)

  • Two years of recent experience in training adult learners

  • Two current letters of recommendations

  • A commitment to offer the MHSS training
