Featured Project
Healthy Eating in Rural Maine
With a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the School is investigating food environments in rural Maine where the risk of childhood obesity is greater. The study will assess how the availability and affordability of healthy food impacts eating behaviors and/or creates barriers to eating healthy foods. It will also identify potential policy and programmatic options specific to rural communities for addressing any gaps.
