Cutler Institute Staffer Wins National Health Award
Senior Research Associate Erika Ziller received the Louis Gorin Award for Outstanding Achievement in Rural Health Care at the NRHA Annual Conference on May 5.

The Institute conducts policy-driven research, evaluation, policy analysis and technical assistance focusing on the public health system and the delivery of health care services.

Healthy Eating in Rural Maine

With a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the School is investigating food environments in rural Maine where the risk of childhood obesity is greater. The study will assess how the availability and affordability of healthy food impacts eating behaviors and/or creates barriers to eating healthy foods. It will also identify potential policy and programmatic options specific to rural communities for addressing any gaps.
