Fostering Connections Services:

PLEASE NOTE: The Federal grant for the NRCOI ended on September 29, 2014. This website is remaining live to keep the resources and information the NRCOI has published throughout the years easily accessible. This information is not being updated.

NRCOI provided training and technical assistance related to the Fostering Connections Act in several ways including:

bullet Developed and hosted national webinars focused on key provisions of the Act to share positive practice and policy efforts being put forth by States and Tribes
bullet Partnered with our colleagues at the NRC for Tribes in their Fostering Connections work with Tribes as they implement IV-E programs
bullet Provided support to child welfare agencies as they work with stakeholders including those in the fields of health care and education, in addition to birth parents, foster parents, kinship providers, and youth
bullet Assisted States in complying with Program Improvement Plan requirements for ensuring educational stability for children and youth in foster care
