National Child Welfare News Clippings (1/29/2010 - 2/5/2010)

Announcement

Greetings, Subscribers of the Child Welfare News Clipping Service.

Thank you for subscribing to the National Child Welfare Resource Center for Organizational Improvement's (NRCOI) weekly news clipping service.  It has been a pleasure collecting child welfare news stories for our subscribers over the past 4 years.  Our list of subscribers has grown to nearly 1,200--something of which we are very proud.

The Child Welfare Information Gateway, like the NRCOI, is a service of the Children's Bureau.  As many of you probably know, the Gateway is the leader in our network of training and technical assistance providers in helping child welfare agencies and other organizations gather information and timely resources related to child welfare, child abuse and neglect, adoption, and foster care.  Find out more about them at: http://www.childwelfare.gov/index.cfm.

Recently, the Gateway began a daily news clipping service which is comparable to the service we provide.  Given that this is one of the specialties of the Gateway and their service is of such a high quality, we have decided to suspend our news clipping service.  Today is the last day we will be sending out news story links.

Currently, the Gateway has an RSS feed available for their daily "Child Welfare in the News" service.  You can subscribe to that feed by visiting: http://www.childwelfare.gov/admin/subscribe/ and clicking on the "Subscribe to RSS Feeds" tab.  Their news clipping service is the third feed listed.  We think you'll enjoy this service!

Thank you, again!
