Pre-Accreditation Groups
If you are considering working towards accreditation but want more information you may want to join a “pre-accreditation” group. These groups are offered 2-3 times per year based on need. It is a series of 3 monthly conference calls, an hour in length, designed to help participants better understand the accreditation process. The purpose is to inform the participant of the accreditation procedures, eligibility requirements, financial commitment and expectations for accreditation so that after the 3 month session a participant will be able to decide if joining an accreditation cohort is for him/her. Pre-accreditation groups are set up for all three accrediting bodies: NAEYC, NAFCC and COA
