College Credit for the 180-Hour Core Knowledge Training Program If you have earned a certificate for completing the Maine Roads Core Knowledge Training program, it is possible to receive college credit from one of Maine’s public community colleges. Maine Roads to Quality, The Department of Health and Human Services, the University of Maine at Augusta, and the statewide community colleges have an articulation agreement that makes this possible. Click here for a list of Maine's Higher Education Institutions. To receive credit, you must complete all of the required listed trainings below. You will also be required to prepare and present a portfolio that documents your work and understanding of the Maine Roads Core Knowledge core concepts and meet other requirements set by the Higher Education Committee. If you are interested in this option, you can get detailed information from the Education Specialist at the Resource Development Center in your area about fulfilling all of the requirements. Please note that the Maine Roads Core Knowledge Training Program has additional curricula that are not part of the articulation agreement.
