Muskie Student Receives National Fellowship
Brenda Zollitsch, a doctoral student at the Muskie School, has been awarded a 2009 Switzer Foundation Environmental Fellowship for the coming year. This prestigious national program selected only 20 fellows from colleges and universities across the U.S. to conduct research on a variety of topics related to preservation of the environment. Zollitsch will use the funds to support her dissertation work, which focuses on the collaborative implementation of stormwater management policy in the U.S. This is the second time a student from the Muskie School has received a Switzer Fellowship. The first was Misha Mytar in 2007.
