Muskie Professor Measures U.S. Coastal Economy
Dr. Charles Colgan, chair of the Muskie School's Community Planning and Development program, is the co-author of a new report that highlights the overall economic value of the ocean. Issued by the National Ocean Economics Program, the report says that coastal states account for 83% of the U.S. economy. The report was released in Washington, D.C., on June 8.
