The USM Muskie School Hosts Public Forum on Maine's Tax Cap Measure

Former State Economist Charles Colgan to Speak

The USM Muskie School will present a public education forum, "Maine's Tax Cap Measure: Understanding the Options," at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, in the Moot Court Room of the Law School Building on the University of Southern Maine's Portland campus. The forum is free and open to the public.

Guest speakers include USM Professor Charles Colgan, who is a former Maine state economist, Bill Becker, executive director of the Maine Heritage Policy Center , and Christopher St. John, executive director of the Maine Center for Economic Policy. Speakers will present their varied perspectives on the implications and possible consequences of Maine 's tax cap measure if successful on November 2.
