The following issue briefs are a series prepared for the Legislative Policy Forum on Health Care on January 26, 2007 by the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine and the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Southern Maine.
The Forum was part of the Policy Leaders Academy for Maine legislators organized by the Maine Development Foundation, the Muskie School and the Smith Center. Funding for the briefs and the forum was generously provided by the Maine Health Access Foundation.

New Findings on ‘New Americans’

The New Americans project, a collaboration between the USM Muskie School and Oldham Innovative Research, has released its final report, New Americans: Child Care Decision-making of Refugee and Immigrant Parents of English Language Learners.
