This competency-based curriculum is designed to train supervisors how to use their Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS) data and reports to inform casework supervision. Unlike many other training programs, the focus of the curriculum is not on the mechanics of using computers - indeed this will vary by state - but rather on teaching supervisors how to integrate the use of information generated by the SACWIS system into their day to day work. The curriculum is available for use by public child welfare agencies.
