Grants to State Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Coalitions Program

Grants are awarded to each state domestic violence coalition and sexual assault coalition for the purposes of coordinating state victim services activities and collaborating and coordinating with Federal, state, and local entities engaged in violence against women activities. A grant made under this Program may not cover more than 75% of the total costs of the project(s) funded. Reporting Requirements

As a result of VAWA 2000, all grant recipients are now statutorily required to report on the effectiveness of their projects, and the Attorney General must now report to Congress on the effectiveness of each grant program. Therefore, grantees funded under this program must collect and maintain data that measures their effectiveness. Grantees are required to submit Semi-Annual Progress Report.

Download a draft of the revised form and instructions in PDF format for reference purposes only.    The final revised form will not be available for use by June 30, 2008.  OVW will grant an appropriate extension for the report due July 30th for the January 1 through June 30, 2008 reporting period.  Grantees will be notified by OVW when the new version is available for reporting on GMS and will have thirty days from the notification date to complete the form on GMS.
To submit your Progress Report to the OVW, you will have to download the form from the GMS system. To download the Progress Reporting Form from the GMS system, review the Quickstart Guide to Progress Reports. For more detailed information, review the Operating Instructions for the GMS External User document.
