PDF is a reliable format for electronic document exchange. It preserves document integrity so that the files can be viewed and printed on a variety of platforms.

This is a tutorial to help you understand how to open/read, save, and print the PDF files from our web site, to your computer. Using PDF files eliminates incompatibility problems with different word processors on different computers, everyone sees the same thing on any computer.

You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 6.0 or version 7.0) installed on your computer in order open/read, save, and print these types of files. The reader is available for free from Adobe. If you don't have it installed or have an older version, go to Adobe's site, download and install it.

Power Point Presentations

This is a tutorial to help you understand how to open Power Point Presentations from our web site, to your computer if your computer does not have the MS Power Point Program.

While the usage of the Power Point Presentations has been widespread, the program isn't on every computer. To keep Power Point the standard, Microsoft distributes a nice tool for computers that don't have the program. Microsoft Power Point Viewer 97 lets anyone open and view PPT, PPS and POT formatted files.

Despite its rather outdated name, the program is capable of opening any file that was created with Power Point versions 95, 97 and certain aspects of Power Point 2000 and 2002 files. Further, the program works with output from both Windows and Macintosh editions of the software.

Click here to Download Microsoft Power Point Viewer 97. Full instructions explaining how to install the program are available at this site.

The Viewer's bland Windows-style interface is easy to use. Simply browse the hard drive and select a file. As the program runs the slides, you'll see all the included animation, effects and action settings. Click the arrow to move forward or backward through the presentation, or use the menu system to jump directly to individual slides. Please note that you can view and print presentations, but you cannot edit them in the Power Point Viewer.
