STOP Violence Against Indian Women Program

STOP Violence Against Indian Women (VAIW) Grants are ending and grantees are submitting their final Semi-Annual Progress Reports. Thus, training and technical assistance for this grant program has concluded. Data Reports continue to be available and will be updated as long as STOP VAIW grantees continue to report. This program was designed to develop and strengthen tribal law enforcement and prosecution efforts to combat violence against Native women and to develop and enhance services for victims of such crimes. The STOP VAIW Program encouraged tribal governments to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to address their unique circumstances.
