The Northeast and Caribbean Implementation Center (NCIC) has been one of five regional Child Welfare Implementation Centers in the Children's Bureau Training and Technical Assistance Network. From 2008 through 2014, we engaged with State and Tribal child welfare agencies to provide resources and support for implementation projects to improve the quality and effectiveness of child welfare services for children, youth and families. Our Approach

We worked with public sector agencies, Tribes, and community-based organizations, partnering with their leaders and their staff to implement change initiatives that link to improved outcomes for their clients and the systems that serve them. In this work we customized our approach within the context of the organizational culture to help leaders design and implement real-world strategic solutions.
