Achieving agency priorities in a systemic manner The NRCOI assisted State and Tribal child welfare agencies in the development of comprehensive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) systems. At its most effective, CQI is a complete system that supports a child welfare agency’s values, vision and mission through ongoing data and information collection and analysis and the regular use of CQI results to make decisions, improve practice and achieve better outcomes for children and families.
