Fact SheetStrategic Planning ToolsResources and Publications

Strategic planning is a continual process for improving organizational performance by developing strategies to produce results. Our training and technical assistance (T/TA) enhances an agency's infrastructure for strategic planning and outcome-based management. The focus includes:

We promote comprehensive and quality strategic planning by engaging leadership and key stakeholders to ensure commitment to the planning process. We help agencies build capacity by developing planning structures, implementing planning processes, and integrating multiple federal planning requirements to ensure realistic and workable plans.

We recognize that operationalizing an organization’s vision, values and practice principles, and including supervisors as change agents, are key to making and sustaining systemic change.
