CFSR Training Package:
To support States in the CFSR process, the NRCOI partnered with several National Resource Centers (NRC) to develop a CFSR training and technical assistance (T/TA) package. These customizable materials were intended to provide additional resources for successfully engaging with the CFSR process. Each area has a distinct topical focus and incorporates a content presentation, facilitator’s guide, and participant handouts. Wherever a State chose to focus, the NRCOI worked with senior administrators, including child welfare directors, to keep them fully engaged in the process and to customize the information to meet the staff and stakeholder needs.
Three focus areas are designed to help State agencies build capacity for strategic thinking and prepare for the onsite review:
Two additional focus areas are intended to be used during the actual CFSR and PIP process. The child welfare agency leads these efforts with onsite participation and support from NRCOI, other NRCs, and the State’s Regional Office partner:
PLEASE NOTE: The Federal grant for the NRCOI ended on September 29, 2014. This website is remaining live to keep the resources and information the NRCOI has published throughout the years easily accessible. This information is not being updated. |
